Tune into the Global Agile Marketing Podcast hosted by John Cass for the Business Agility Institute to hear how marketers are using agile marketing principals and best practice around the world.
Why is agility important to your marketing?
I’ve been involved in the Agile marketing community since 2009 or so, and I’ve used agile in various roles, from Director of Marketing to VP of Marketing and now in my role as Co-Founder at AIContentGen. I’ve used it to manage the process of marketing at various companies, and it’s helped my teams manage their marketing over the years.
A shared agile mindset provides a level of transparency to all stakeholders involved in the marketing process
How has agile marketing helped you reach your goals?
Agile marketing enables me and my teams to focus on what’s important. When I was a new Director of Marketing, the principles of agile marketing helped me get up to speed with the CEO, helping them to understand what I was focusing on, and where there were gaps in what I needed to understand what needed to be done.
What’s the single most important thing you’ve learnt during your marketing career?
A shared agile mindset provides a level of transparency to all stakeholders involved in the marketing process, and as a result, helps leaders and stakeholders understand what’s happening, what’s possible, and why marketing is where it’s currently running because of that open and transparent effort.
